Georgia is a song inspired by the mother of American modernism, Georgia O'Keefe. Her life was lived boldly, and her artwork reflected her search for freedom.. externally and internally.
Writing this song took me on a journey, i knew it wouldn't be finished till i went to New Mexico myself and really felt the way she felt in the landscape. Having thought i'd completed the "Georgia' journey, i set off to make the visuals for it. This video was like opening the door at the end of a long path you've been on, expecting to of 'made it' or 'arrived' to a greater place of understanding, but beyond the door, the path winds more. For this lesson i'm truly blessed.
